And so it begins.......my annual Christmas series featuring some of my favorite shops. I don't just love these shops at the Christmas holiday; I love them year round, but I think they are especially bright and inspiring at Christmas. I know they inspire me...and fill my home with lots of lovely treasures because I can never resist coming home with some little trinket. But that's what makes doing this series so fun, right. Anyway, I don't want to hog all the goodies for myself so beginning with today's post, I'll be bringing you several shops all decked out in their holiday finery. I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet but all of these places begin their holiday open houses in November and I don't want you to miss out on the best inventory! That wouldn't be nice. Today I begin with Faddegon's Nursery also known as Faddegon's Home and Gift. If you thought Faddegon's was all about gardening supplies, have I got a surprise for you.
I realized when I chose this jolly felt snowman for my lead photo, it's probably the least sparkly, least elegant item Faddegon's has to offer, but really.....does this little man not just make you want to smile? And if you're wondering....no he did not come home with me. Score one for my wallet! It was hard though. What I love about Faddegon's is that there's something for everyone, from the formal decorator, to the traditional, Adirondack to Scandinavian.
To add sparkle and glamour, there's an abundance of glitz guaranteed to bring out the 'oooh's and ahhhh's' from your guests......
Thinking a little Adirondack .....I call this Adirondack Gets Fancy
Because walking through Faddegon's is like walking around the best candy store ever........
Come back soon for more shops.....lots more! I promise if you're not in the holiday spirit yet, you will be. Thanks for joining me in Life As I See It.
