It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year At the Garden Bug

Whew.....talk about running a marathon!!! Well, not the kind of marathon athletes run.....I'm talking about a blogging marathon.  This series is so much fun!  I hope you're enjoying it as much as I am.  Normally my posts come at my leisure, based on inspiration and a little on where life leads me, but today's feature comes from a place of shear excitement and adrenaline.  Today I returned to the Garden Bug in Amsterdam to get a little preview of this weekend's Open House and let me just say....read fast and then grab your wallet and hit the highway because I promise once you see the photos, you're going to want to go!!!  The Open House is tonight from 4:30-7:30, Saturday & Sunday 10-4:00.
The Garden Bug is a located on Fort Hunter Road in Amsterdam inside of a 100 yr. old barn.  It features everything country & primitive and is owned by Char & Steve Brown, some of the nicest folks I've met while doing this blog.  Amazingly they were pretty wide awake today when we visited which is surprising because the shop has been closed all week while they transformed the entire place into a Winter Wonderland.  Have a look............

See what I mean?    So, grab your keys and your charge card and hop in your car and don't stop till you get to Amsterdam!  Tell Char I sent you and let me know how much you bought!  I know you won't leave empty handed!    Stick around because I have lots more like this coming up in Life As I See It.    If you have a friend who would love the Garden Bug, use the links below to share this post on Facebook, Email or Pinterest!    Thanks for reading!
Ready - Set - Go!!!!

  1. Ahhhh ....... The Garden Bug :) Love this place <3 Just a hop, skip & a jump from Rte 5S,off the beaten path, so worth the trip, no one will be disappointed for sure and you won't leave empty handed ! Always something new, and just a little FYI, if you see something you want, don't wait, good chance it won't be there next time ! The pies and cider donuts, available on the weekends are to die for, soooo good :) ........ ( They do close on Christmas Eve til Spring when they re-open ) ............ Diane F.
