One of the most magical sights, aside from the expansive landscape, is the herd of buffalo at the local buffalo farm we discovered years ago on our first accidental visit. I've never been to the mid-west, so seeing a herd of buffalo isn't exactly common place, nor is it any less exciting the second or third time. This post doesn't need words, so I won't waste my time or yours when photos are all that's necessary to tell the story of this beautiful land.
February 2018 - Beautiful in every season! |
Beautiful, right? I'm not saying cities aren't special or interesting but I'm also not denying that I'm a country girl through and through. I may not have an interest in living anywhere but in the suburbs, but take me out on the back roads in the country any day and I know I'll come home restored, refreshed and thankful for the masterpiece we call Earth.
I hope you enjoyed the last post featuring the Coxsackie owls......talk about a masterpiece!!! This weekend I hope to get to Cairo or Catskill to capture the 50 Cat 'n Around Catksill cats and maybe the Cairo bears too. So stay tuned for those. Thanks for stopping by Life As I See It. I hope you'll think about taking your own dirt road trip sometime soon!
