If Spring Came in a Store - Faddegon's Nursery

Doesn't this picture just brighten your day?   It sure brightens mine, just like my visit did to today's featured shop!  As you know, this series is all about finding spring .... specifically in a store.  When I was compiling my list of shops that I knew could satisfy my "spring" craving.....it was a no-brainer that Faddegon's had to be on that list.  My expectations were met and exceeded and my senses were in overdrive wandering through this garden oasis.  If you have been driving past this beautiful nursery assuming it was just for gardener types, oh what a shame!  Faddegon's is so much more than flowers and trees.  If you happened to be following my blog for a while, you know I featured Faddegon's in my 'Getting a Jump on the Holiday' series.  Back then the store was a Christmas wonderland, but this week it is bursting with color from the live plants in the greenhouse to the artificial flowers that are incredibly realistic, to the gift items for your home and special person in your life.....Spring is definitely in Faddegon's!

Of course you can't have Spring without the Easter Bunny!  This year felt is all the rage and the felt sheep and chicks were too cute to resist. 

 

Even the elephants had to get into the fun. (See them in the basket above)

 

If you're more the green thumb type, step out into the warmth of the greenhouse where you'll be surrounded by green!  Whether you are into fairy gardens, or terrariums, or are looking for a beautiful arrangement, you'll find it at Faddegon's.

 

 

 And.....if you're more of a 'do-it yourself-type'.....there's a huge variety of seeds and bulbs to get you started on your summer garden.

There's never a bad time to visit Faddegon's Nursery, but a great time to visit is on Palm Sunday, March 29th, when the greenhouse will be filled with hydrangea, lilies, tulips, and everything that spells spring, even baby animals.   Don't miss it.  Use the link below for more information on all of their events and products.  Faddegon's Nursery is located at 1140 Troy Schenectady Road in Latham, NY.
