Jingle Bells, Santa's Elves and Everything Christmas at Crow Cottage

Here we go again - Part II of my 2016 Christmas series!  Today we go to Chatham, NY to revisit an old favorite, Crow Cottage.  I first wrote about Crow Cottage back in March of 2016 after several readers had recommended I pay them a visit.  If you weren't reading the blog back then, I'll tell you I'd resisted because I didn't think I would be a fan since much of Crow Cottage is primitive.  Well, I finally succumbed to the popular vote and went, and I was forced to eat crow (hahaha pardon the pun) because Crow Cottage was everything everyone said it was and much more than primitive.  One of my favorite things about Crow Cottage is the large selection of Terri Littlefield originals (painted pieces and original needlework).  In fact, the bucket above is a fine example!  I may have even come home with a new piece for my collection ;)
Jody was worried that she wasn't finished putting out all the holiday merchandise yet, but I assured her there was plenty enough to give you an idea of what awaits you ......and believe me.....there is plenty.  Here's a little preview of what you can expect when you visit Crow Cottage:

My goal with this Christmas series is not to show you everything in any particular shop, but to A) bring you a little holiday inspiration and B) share a little Christmas joy if you might be having trouble mustering up your own.  Believe me, there is no shortage of either in any of the shops I have in this series.  If you've seen anything you have to have here at Crow Cottage, hurry to Chatham today.  The drive is beautiful, especially if you take Route 66.  Crow Cottage is located at 3 Railroad Avenue in the heart of Chatham.  Jody Sauca, the owner, is sweet and full of fun.  Be sure to tell her I sent you.  Keep an eye out for Terri's originals and if you find one you love, grab it because she does not mass produce and once it's gone, it's gone.  To read more about Terri:
She's pretty special, not to mention amazingly talented.  Thanks for reading today.  Share away and stay tuned for the next shop in the series - coming soon!
