I love sharing my favorite small businesses here on the blog, and today's feature business is no stranger to Life As I See It. Kulak's Nursery and Landscaping is not just a great place for landscaping needs which I know from personal experience, it's a wonderful place for your holiday shopping too!
I made an impromptu visit today and the moment we walked through the door, I knew a blog post was about to be born. If you've never visited Kulak's before and assumed from a drive-by that it was merely a landscaping business, you'll be surprised to find out that it is so much more. I've always known what a wonderland it is at the holidays and by the end of today's post - you'll be planning a trip there soon.
As much as the shop is always gorgeous for Christmas, Pam has outdone herself this year and the shop is overflowing (literally) with Christmas décor and gifts in every theme and color palette imaginable. I was pretty proud of myself for visiting The Speckled Hen earlier without buying anything (that's quite a record for me), but I must confess I walked out of Kulak's with a bagful of goodies - all for me! You'll see why. Sit back and get comfortable because you're in for quite a show....
Can you see now why I didn't leave empty handed? Even as I prepared the photos for the blog, I saw several things I may have bought had I noticed them this afternoon. Such great décor items for inside and out, from Christmas trees to wreaths, kissing balls and clever display pieces like the adorable reindeer above. Whether you're buying for a co-worker or a youngster, an avid gardener or neighbor, or yourself - Kulak's has something to please every person on your gift list.
If you're just looking for some fun with the kiddos in your life, visit Kulak's this Sunday from 12:30-5:00pm when Santa will be hanging out. Bring your camera for a photo op (no charge) by the vintage truck, red tractor or Christmas trees. Next Friday, December 9th, visit Kulak's for S'mores with Santa from 5:00-8:00pm.
