My sweet 23-yr old son decided to end his su...Gail,<br />My sweet 23-yr old son decided to end his suffering on Thanksgiving weekend, 2011. As you can imagine, we were devastated. Like you I will never understand why he did it. I know he was having a hard time in life, but I would have never thought he would turn to suicide. It has taken me four years to be able to speak of it in with people in casual conversation. Folks are always so kind...not saying much but listening to me. Sometimes that's what I need.<br /><br />I enjoy your blog, and especially loved all your pictures over the holiday season.
